Patient Advocate Liaison Progam (PAL)

If you will be admitted to the hospital following surgery, you are encouraged to ask one of your friends or family members to act as your Patient Advocate Liaison (PAL).

The PAL program was developed in hopes that you, as our patient, will be comforted by having a loved one with you during your hospitalization. As a PAL in this program, a friend or family member that you choose can become more involved in your care and be with you for longer periods of time while you are in the hospital. An Admitting representative or unit nurse will give you more specific information on the program. Just ask!
