| Heartburn Seminar and Screening |
Description: About one in 10 adults suffers from heartburn, and over time, chronic heartburn can lead to scarring and narrowing of the esophagus, making it difficult to swallow foods and liquids. Even worse, prolonged heartburn can lead to esophageal cancer. Heartburn Clinic Medical Director Francisco Rodriguez, MD, FACS, and gastroenterologists Joeshph Fares, MD and Juan Carlos Teran, MD, will explain heartburn, swallowing disorders and the importance of receiving early treatment from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1, in the Cowden Center.
Nurses from the John C. Lincoln Heartburn Center will screen patients for diagnostic treatments. Seminar and screenings are free, but space is limited and reservation required. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by Oct. 24 by calling the Cowden Center at 602-870-6300.

| Description: John C. Lincoln has teamed with Northern Trust Bank and The Wellness Community to present "360: Reclaiming Your Life After Diagnosis". It's a free breast cancer education round table where women can ask questions and get answers from breast cancer survivors and medical and clinical professionals.
